Referrals, Rebates & Fees

You do not require a referral to see a psychologist at LifeRoots Psychology for counselling sessions. However, you may be eligible for rebates from Medicare if you visit your GP prior to attending counselling to request a referral under the Better Access to Mental Health Scheme. LifeRoots Psychology is registered for Medicare and Health Fund Rebates.

At LifeRoots Psychology fees for psychological services are guided by the recommended rates of the Australian Psychological Society, their current recommended rate is $300. However, LifeRoots Psychology chooses to offer significantly lower rates. The standard rate for an initial individual assessment session is $220 and then follow on sessions are $205. In certain circumstances additional fees may apply. Bulk-billing is not available at this clinic. Please discuss with your psychologist prior to your first session.

Fees are to be paid on the day of consultation via direct bank transfer.
